My name is Ulfa Muhammad Lamappanganro, I was born at Pulau Pinang Hospital on 1June 1988. Later I’ve been raised at muar Johor. I earned my early education at Sekolah Rendah Arab al-Tanwiriah till form two, then continued at Sekolah Menengah Agama Lughatul Quran till form five. After SPM, 2006, I continued Sijil Tinggi Agama Menengah at Maahad Johor . and now I’m studying at National University of Malaysia, at faculty of education. I realise that I’m not a bad person, I’m a good friend and family member. I am a person who is positive about very aspect of life. There are many thing I like to do. I like cooking, I like jogging, camping, and other adventurous activities.
My Father’s name is Muhammad Lamappanganro. According to my grandmother, my father was named after a Bugis warrior. He is a bugis. He was born in Johor and have been raised at Johor. He is Teacher at Sekolah Rendah Pendidikan Khas Ismail Dua Muar. At the free time he likes going to the garden. Even he’s now already 52 years old, but he still healthy and tough serius. He became a grandfather at the age of 47 and now he has 6 grandsons and granddaughters altogether. He’s an open minded and good father in our life. He’s also a charitable person like my grandfather’s character.
My mother’s name is Rokiah, she is also a Bugis, she’s was born at Kuching serawak and have been raised at Serawak, She is a house wife. Love story of my parents started when father accompanied my grandfather for outstation at Kuching. She is quite a shy person, and so I not that close with her, and I often share my problems with her, instead I go to my father. And now my character’s like her.
This is my family foto’s 2003, I have 10 siblings without me. Consist of 7 girls and 4 boys, and me sixth. Two my sisters and brother have been married then they each has already two sons. They’re working. My sisters is teacher at kuala Lumpur, and live with her husband. And brother working at Pusat Lembaga Zakat at Johor Bharu. They are now on leave for 1 year to further their study at al-Azhar University. Tree of my family including me are studying at IPTA/S. and my young sister has finished SPM and now she is offered to further her study at the Matriculation. While, my other 3 younger sisters are still in their secondary schools.
One of my brothers has difficulties in hearing and speaking due to high fever the time he was small. Although, thankful, now he was working under Vocasional School at Cyberjaya. And now he can stand his own.
We live so-so life, we are not very rich and not very poor. It’s mean a simple family. The Best thing of having quite a number of siblings is during the hari raya, because at that day, all of us we gather together at our home. Every hari raya season father will make “Rendang daging” and mother will make “Burasak”.
Burasak is a type of bugis food, to make Burasak, it so very difficult and have careful. That is usually prepared during hari raya. Not complete the Hari Raya without Rendang Daging and Burasak especially Burasak. I like to eat burasak very much.
But now, when hari raya my siblings having difficult together at our home , because they’re having other commitment. Anyway , thanks god, I’m very happy I have a big family. My ALLAH blessed us.
