My Country is Sabak Bernam….

If Adrin can story his country why not me? So.. I would like to tell my country in this blog. Sabak Bernam is one most important district in Selangor. This area of Sabak Bernam is 242, 560 acres. Beside north is Perak state, where Sungai Bernam as his separatist. Hulu Selangor district in eastern side, Kuala Selangor located in southern region, while in northwest side also facing Straits of Malacca. Generally Sabak Bernam district has three important capital city and be residential centre in this district. That town was Sekinchan, Sungai Besar and Pekan Sabak Bernam own. This county community constitute multiple race and most its comprise of Malay people. This brought with it an influx of new settlers, predominantly Malay and Javanese who form the core of the present population today. From first until now this district always famous with two activities agriculture and livestock. The most important activity of society in Selangor especially in Sabak Bernam district is agricultural. First society at the time was worked two crop form namely swidden farming or ‘huma’ plants and rice field. ‘huma’ crop involving forest clearance for one or two crop season which comprises of vegetables crop. Rice field crop or paddy field also involving padi crop.

Fisheries sector in Selangor also started and grow but its very low, traditional society catch fish using limited equipment such as fishing net, seine, fish trap etc. Their fisheries activity revolve rice field in the vicinity, canal, river and in offshore. Nevertheless, short-term and long planning by government side had modified this sector to more viable. Tradition equipment formerly was modified to sophisticated and modern technical equipment to investigate deep sea. Since recent, Selangor had introduced more effective livestock industry such as livestock in cage (salt water and brackish) also fish livestock, prawn and cockle in this livestock industry.
